DAIKIN’S DECATUR PLANT FULLY OPERATIONAL
AFTER TORNADO’S IMPACT ON POWER
The record breaking series of tornadoes on April 27th left most of Northern Alabama, including Daikin’s Decatur plant, without power. The Plant executed a safe and orderly shutdown without any damage.
TVA fully restored power to the Plant on the evening of May 6th. A phased start-up began on May 7th, and as of May 10th is now fully operational.
